Condolence From: Elizabeth Craig
Condolence: Dear Karen and Mark:
I was just informed of the passing of your father through my cousin Ron Mutton. I send my heartfelt condolences. I am the daughter of Patricia Craig in Windsor. My grandmother was Bernice McMillan from Cobourg. Your father would come to our home in Windsor when he was here on business. I remember him as a man of 'great presence', brillant, funny, and who enjoyed a drink or two. I have a memory of coming to your home when I was a very young girl and your mom made us a lovely dinner and thinking that Mark was so good looking. Anyway, we lost our mom 2 years ago at 86 yrs, after an awesome St. Patrick's Day party. She died in her sleep, at our family home, in her bed after consuming a bottle of 21 year old scotch. It was perfect! I am still in Windsor, a crimial defence lawyer for 24 years and have 2 daughters, one that lives in Toronto, and one here. I hope you are both well, and please know that your dad and mom are in my thoughts and prayers today. Beth Craig

Condolence: Dear Mark and Karen

Please accept our sympathies on the passing of your dad. How well I remember our family camping trips in Alberta way backing the '60's. They were always lots of fun. I think they were for our parents as well. They are always full of smiles in the slides we have of those days. (Nothing to do with the alcohol consumed on those trips :-)

John especially seemed to love life and we can see that the twinkle in his eye did not dim with age.

Condolence From: Bea and Anatole Banner
Condolence: Dear Karen and Mark,

We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. Over many years, we both worked with him at Griffith Labs and both travelled with him occasionally to visit cutomers in southern Ontario.

In more recent years Bea worked with him on the Griffith retirees luncheon committee and then we met up with him again at Delmonor where Anatole's Mum was also a resident.

His love of people will be what we remember most.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy. I worked with John at Griffith Laboratories for many years. John was very good at what he did and he always did his job with a great sense of humour and was a true gentleman. Back in the day one of John's accounts was Canada Packers where my father worked so he got to know my Dad. I"ll always have fond memories of working with John. Elizabeth

Condolence From: Mer and Richard
Condolence: Karen and Mark,
Our thoughts and prayers for you at this time. I have so many fond memories of your Dad that he still brings a smile to my face. He always called me "McLean" and he had that dry wit that challenged me constantly. He will be missed. Love to all.
Take care. Mer and Richard
