Condolence From: Carolyn Ellerby
Condolence: Lung Chen accepted my husband and I into his family when my daughter became his daughter in law. We would be included in many family gatherings and Lung always asked about my husband or my health. People come into our lives to teach us something. From what I have observed about Lung is that he lived a very modest life, not because he had to but because he wanted to. Fancy cars, big houses, elaborate vacations were not his priority. His life was his family, His mother, his children and his grandchildren who he was so proud of.

The lesson I have learned from Lung is this "You can't take it with you" but you can leave behind a legacy of respectful, honest, kind, genuine and caring children which he did. Well done Lung.

Condolence: To the Chens,
I am so sorry for your loss Ellen. Lung will be missed by you and many family and friends.
Lung was a good man - very strong and solid in his beliefs. He was an excellent son, father and grandfather. Family was everything to him.
As the mother of his children, Tara and Marshall, I take great pride that I have amazing children and so much of that is due to Lung. He had a fierce love and pride for his kids and he apparently never lost an opportunity to make sure that both Tara and Marshall (and others) knew it.
When it came to his children, Lung was very wise. He gave them the tools to be kind; to make goals and work hard to attain those goals; he gave them a very unique way to teach them the value of money; he taught them the importance of education; he taught them to think for themselves and to make smart choices.
I am so sorry that I never had the opportunity to let him know how much I appreciated all that he did for Tara and Marshall.
