Obituary for Elisabeth Bosco

Elisabeth Bosco
BOSCO, Elisabeth Ann “Elisa” (nee Liuzzi) was received in heaven by her saviour at the age of 50 on Sunday July 8th 2018, after a fearless battle with breast cancer at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. Beloved wife of Bernie, devoted mother to Ethan, she is survived by her parents Frank and Delores, sister Donna (Bill), brother Rick (Monica), brother in law Nathaniel (Jasmine) and sister in law Milca (Sergio). She will be lovingly remembered by her nephews and nieces, Jeffrey (Bethany), Lauren (Christian), David (Anne), Sarah (Alex), Marcus, Olivia, Samuel, Daniella, Alyn, Ivan and Denise, as well as her 6 great nephews and nieces, Emmie, Callum, Wesley, Judah, Damian and Andre.

Elisa will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love for those who knew her. Elisa adored children which influenced her decision to attend teachers college at the University of Toronto and begin a rewarding career at the Toronto District and later York Region school boards.

Elisa would never miss a party or family get together. Her sense of humour kept us laughing and we will miss her ever present smile. She brought life to any gathering she attended and her absence will be a tremendous loss.

Elisa was a dedicated Christian and loved her Lord Jesus. She was a faithful attender of St Johns (Light on the Hill) Anglican Church in Richmond Hill for many years. The family is grateful beyond words for the support and love they received from their church family during Elisa’s illness.

In lieu of flowers, Elisa requested donations for her son Ethan’s educational development and other support services. Donations can be made at any CIBC, account number 02592-5489296.

The family would also like to recognize the efforts of the 6th floor nursing staff at Southlake Hospital in the Cancer and Palliative Care wards. Their kindness, sensitivity and care will not be forgotten.

Three things will last forever, faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love
