Dear Cary and family, I only just now heard the very sad news of our dear sweet Bud’s passing. Heaven is a much brighter place with Bud's arrival. He was such a fun, warm, sweet gentleman and I will miss him for the rest of my life. I'm so so so sorry for your loss and mine knowing I won't ever see this sweet wonderful man around the Town any more. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm truly saddened.

Dear Cary, my heartfelt condolences to you and the family on Bud’s passing. I was shocked. I reported to Bud when Transit amalgamated and had got to know him quite well over the two years leading up to amalgamation. He could always make me laugh. I could always count on him to tell me I had the manager’s position because of him and that still makes me smile. He was one in a million and I am so happy he got to enjoy the things he, travelling to Florida, curling and his photography. I am sorry I cannot be there to celebrate Bud as I am out of the country. Please take care of yourself. Sharon

Dear Cary & family - we are deeply saddened to learn of Bud's passing. I first met Bud nearly 20 years ago after moving to the town, my wife suggested I join the Richmond Hill Camera Club, Bud was our President. I have many good memories and spent enjoyable hikes, camera in hand looking for birds and wildlife and talking about Northern Ontario. Sandy met Bud through Arnie Warner while starting the quest to build Crosby Park an accessible inclusive park for all. Shortly after Sandy joined the Richmond Hill mobility foundation where Bud was heavily involved and passionate about helping the community, he held many roles on this committee. He was a good man with a big heart and loved by all. He will be missed by many but never forgotten - Please accept our condolences: Glenn, Sandy, Matheson & Zachary Steplock. (Photos May 23 2016)
