Dear Joan,
I want to extend my sincere condolences to you Joan and all of the family. Your Ernie always greeted me with a smile at St. John's each Sunday and I so missed seeing that warm smile and chatting with you at church after your move from Alliston. I know others here felt exactly the same way. I will be away from home this coming weekend and so am very sorry that I am unable to attend Ernie's funeral service on Saturday. I just want you to know that I am thinking about you at this very difficult time.

Joan and family, I send my condolences. I taught with Ernie at Ancaster School and remember him as a caring and thoughtful teacher. As a staff, we had many great times with Ernie as a fun loving member.

Mrs Buck, Valerie, Chris, Jeremy & Family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of your husband/father. I have SO many memories of him I could write an essay. He was my "2nd father" in my early - teen years, as I practically lived at your house. I remember being part of family camping trips, cottages-one particular Thanksgiving trip, and countless others. I will always remember Wednesday and Saturday night Toronto Leaf games. He always watched the games with Valerie and I(along with a bag of chips!).
He was a kind, sweet man with an easy-going personality, that I will remember fondly.
Love to all of you.
Laurie Georges (Fenwick)
