Sending my deepest sympathies to the family, and the many friends Lisa had. I will forever cherish our high school days cruising around in her Mom's Cabriolet convertable. Never a day went by that she couldn't make someone smile. Forever in our hearts Lis xoxo

was sitting and waiting for the show to start, I noticed the show was dedicated to you, I was like, oh, it's yer birthday.. but sadly, I was very very mistaken. My heart sank as I spoke with Joanne Marie - She called and what a mess she was, Your friendship with her, meant more to her than you will ever know, I could tell.

I messaged you with things I thought I needed to say, but now, I just want to say them on your page,

This isn't just my loss, this is a loss in our hip family and whether you met her or not, it is still a painful loss..

I hope that your transition was not painful, I know you were in pain, but I hope you passed easily.

We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will and that my friend is something that you did. You created a love between friends that will now leave an imprint until the end of time.

What you have taught me .... I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.

When I look up to the stars, I hope to see not Just Gord Downie walking among them, but you as well, with him...

I met Lisa in high school and reconnected on Facebook years ago. I always enjoyed her sense of humour and kindness and was shocked when I read she had passed. My deepest condolences to all of the family and close friends.
