I met Ken and Barbara through Thornhill United Church. When they lived in Delmanor and were unable to attend church I would visit them. Ken was a very interesting person to visit with and I learned so much about the war, local history and local geography.
His mind was sharp and his attention to detail was remarkable. From our visits I gleaned that he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and a very proud great grandfather. My heartfelt wishes go out to Barbara and the family. Regards Barbara Carruthers
